I & I OG from my Vault - deck 1

I had the privilege of knowing Nyjah at the beginning of his brand I & I Skateboards. He and his father would come up to Prime shortly after I bought the factory and spend countless hours, often late into the night detailing every aspect of making the brand a household name. Also at the time we discussed a Bearing Brand, a shoe Brand, Griptape and even trucks as add options around the I & I Brand. All bold ideas, but this was Nyjah and really he has beyond proved to the world his capabilities. It proved to be a difficult project mostly in that it was under funded and my roll was to make sure the decks and products were made and the capital was there for that but the additional capital for the marketing side was not. Commitments to team riders, transportation, trade shows, ads, Auto, food all soon sufficated the brand and really the pressure reality for Nyjah to be primarily focused on the task of skating.. it was clear for sure that the best move for Nyjah and all involved was to focus on marketing for the larger successful brands. We all know the history from there and I really couldn't be happier for Nyjah.  I'm proud to have known him during such an amazing moment of his life.  

I had a few of the decks when the brand ended. I forgot about them but in the shuffle of cleaning out the old inventory and my Vault i'm using the funds to cover the costs of our next production run and to help keep a couple of the important guys around that are really important to prime so thanks for helping!!
